How Carole King Lifted Spirits in New York After the Infamous 2001 Attacks.
The Wall Street Journal published my article, “You’ve Got a Friend This COVID 9/11. – How Singer-Songwriter Carole King lifted spirits in New York after the infamous 2001 Attacks.”
Today, I hold a piece of rubble in my hand, but not just any piece of rubble. It was handed to me by a firefighter at ground zero in October 2001, a few weeks after 9/11. I first visited the site two weeks after the attacks and watched the still smoldering wreckage of what had been the World Trade Center.
